Hello All,

I got my ACT results today (my third and final time taking it) and I was, for the most part, very pleased with the scores:

Composite: 32
English: 33
Math: 34
Reading: 35
Science: 25 <--- You can see where I'm headed with this.
Eng/Writing: 32 (Essay 10)

I know that colleges consider the highest composite score in their admissions decisions, and I also know that since I'm a transfer student, the test results will matter less, but will they recognize that I have an obvious weakness in science, which pulls down my composite? How much do they consider the subsections? I am a double major in English/Creative Writing and Linguistics, so I am verbally-inclined intellectually and academically. In other words, the science is somewhat irrelevant, and I have a decent score in IB Biology and good grades in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology to counter it. Score-wise, here is what the application will show, with the highest scores from all test dates:

Comp: 32 English: 34 Math: 34 Reading: 35 Science: 28 Writing: 10
(IB Biology: 5)

How do you think admissions counselors will view this? Thank you!

P.S. What did you think of the curve? Math seemed to be pretty generous to me! :D
