Hi!

I have a question regarding the ACT exam:

I'm a high school sophomore and I recently took a practice ACT from the Princeton book and got the following score:
English 29
Math 34
Reading 28
Science 30
Composite 30

Which ACT books are the best for preparation? I bought the Real ACT book and the Princeton book, but are there any others that are very good?

Also, are there any National Merit type things with the ACT exam? And, are my scores acceptable for a sophomore or should I am higher?

Thanks!
Happy New Year!

You know, I've found that Princeton Books seem to be more difficult for me than the real test? Or maybe I only do better than predicted on the real tests because they are 'real' ^^;.

I think the only main thing for the ACT is the Presidential Scholars Program... if you have a 34 composite and break into the 30s for each subscore, you get invited to apply for the Presidential Scholar Award

thanks so much for your help!

i have also purchased the online course for the ACT, in case any other people are asking where to get more practice tests :D
