***ACT HELP****

<p>So here's my situation:
30-32 English
33 math
28 reading
27 science</p>

<p>My biggest problem is fixing stupid/careless stupid mistakes. Any idea how to limit these? I could be scoring much better without them. Time is not an issue I usually finish right on time. </p>

<p>Any advice greatly appreciated. </p>

<p>I am making them, as well. It killed me in my math practice yesterday. I am underling in the questions now and slowing down a little.</p>

<p>Practice. Practice. Practice. Except practice with a focus. Tally all mistakes and categorize them according to dumb, hard, didn’t know, sin/cos/tan, etc.</p>

<p>Every dumb mistake you make is based off of a weakness. Whether that be nervousness or a not quite fluent understanding of the subject. Take note of every dumb mistake and find out what type of problem it was. Focus on those problems on the next test. Master the questions to weed out dumb mistakes. Also try to manage your time differently if you fear that’s the problem. Purposely slow down for the first 40 or so math questions or sown thing like that.</p>

<p>This method works for every test and is extremely effective. Think of it as the “Analytically Controlled Tutoring” method, or, the ACT method.</p>
