Hi! I’m taking the ACT in Feb. but I am having an issue. I am responsible for helping tech the musical, and it is a huge commitment (there is a show on Saturday in early afternoon). I would have no time to get back because there are no test centers in my state anymore. What should I do?
why don’t you take it in april?
Because I am a senior in high school and I’m retaking it for schools that accept Feb. scores
Maybe take the SAT instead? Or ask your director if you can work around it or delegate your tech responsibilities to someone else for that particular showing?
^^What @Studious99 is saying. This is your last chance for ACT and you need to prioritize. Why not delegate your responsibilities? Run your team through what needs to be done in your absence (or inform the person in charge that you are not able to make it so need advice on who to delegate to). Are you able to get back for at least part of it?
Which state has no test centers? that seems odd. Do you mean no test centers in your local area?
Sorry, I should have clarified. In NYC, there are no test centers, where the nearest would be NJ.
@AnonymouseCat - for the Feb. test that’s correct. Brooklyn has several for the April exam but that’s not applicable to you.
