It was 14,000 for the shaded area.

what?!? how was it 14000???

@ocarinzee

each vertex point was an outer boundary where you could maximize profit. What I did was simply plug in the numbers for each point and found when it yielded the largest profit. So, the answer was 14,000.

there was a combination higher than the 2 x 6? i checked and thought that it was the highest. CRAP

if I remember…I thought the x-axis was $3 and the y-axis was $1?

i don’t think i remember enough of the question to be asking them, haha sorry

i just thought it would be the one 200 to the right and 600 up? maybe i didn’t understand the question well enough

^there was one that was 4,2. So 40003 is 12000 for the x axis and then 20001. 12000+2000 is 14000.

alrighty then, i obviously was missing out on some side equation then. my b

I agree with fresh101. it was 14k. hey did you guys get the last question?

Alright the ones I had trouble on:

Rhombus inside rectange inside circle: I put J) 6, by POE. If it was 4, it would be equal to the radius, which is impossible because the side was a hypotenuse of right triangle. If it was 8 it would be too large because it was equal the entire diameter. I am still waiting for a mathematical solution.

abs(x-1) < B
A) X - 1 < B and 1 - X < B

Question 60… Polynomial with a given root of 2. Divide it by x - 2, solve using quadratic formula to get
J)5/4 ± sqr(23)i/4

For the record, I thought this math was a little harder than average. I scored 36 and 35 on my last two.

The last question was D.

what was the answer to the inflatable cylinder question where it asked the time it took to pump up. i remember the height being 20 and the rate being 600 ft/min. i took the volume of the cylinder (HxPiR^2) and divided it by 600 and got the smallest answer which was the first choice. Was that right??

great. that’s what i got

ethan that is the correct

and the answer to the rhombus is 4

The answer to the inflatable question was roughly 3.8, the smallest answer.

does anyone remember if the awnser to the rhombus question was awners “C”. I know the awnser is 4 but I guessed on Question #44. Was that question the rhombus question? And if it was does anyone remember what the order of the awnsers was I think it was like this:
A) 1
B) 3
C) 4

I know I put “C” but does anyone remember if C was 4?

What do u guys think -1 will be?

i know its prolly easy…but the algebraic problem: x^5 times x^(-3^2)
I got -4 but than changed to -1. anyone know how to do this

its -4… 5 + -9 the - was outside the parenthesis so it does not get squared and remains.
Does anyone remember this:

^4 was either the first or second option.

the rhombus problem was
A: 2
B: 3
C: 4

I thought exponents taken to a power are just multiplied though so like x^3^3 would be x^9 instead of x^27
