When logging in I keep getting this:

"Your ACT record is currently not available. Please allow one work day before trying to access your record again. If you continue to receive this message after that, contact ACT."

Any idea on the reason?
I really want to know my scores, and they haven't been sent to me yet.

I called them earlier today because I was not able to log on to my daughter’s account, and they told me that the system was overloaded because they were downloading the ACT scores from the Illinois April 24th ACT. They said to check back tomorrow morning (Wednesday) after 8:00, but it was not guaranteed to be up by then. It is just so frustrating because some kids at my daughter’s school were able to get their ACT scores today and my daughter is dying to find out what she got. There were a lot of kids at her school in the same boat w/not being able to log on to their account. Hopefully it is fixed by tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know if the login problem has been fixed yet? I haven’t checked yet this morning. All of the sudden I am nervous to see my daughter’s scores!

Mine is STILL not working…

I just checked a little bit ago and my daughter’s account is still not working either. I wonder, is this just a problem w/Illinois residents, or is everyone affected?

We’re in Illinois and after my daughter was still not able to log-in to her ACT account for the second day, I did call today as well. The ACT guy was really nice and did indicate that Illinois users are having lots of problems due to the upload of all the state testing. He also asked my daughter’s name and said part of the problem was that she was showing two accounts; I guess her info from what she filled out at her high school was not exactly identical to the online registration from when she took the April 14 national test date. He went through her info and merged the two accounts but said it would still be a good 24-48 hours before she would have online access. He said once she is able to log on again, her scores from the PSAE date should be available for viewing.

Thanks for the info, UKMomof3. Did they tell you if your daughter’s scores were in the system yet? When I spoke to them y-day, they told me that they are not allowed to give scores over the phone, but they said that my daughter’s scores for the April 24th test weren’t in the system yet anyway. I don’t know, maybe they were trying to make me feel better about not being able to access her account? It wasn’t like we were missing out on seeing what her score was. I also wanted to ask you, did the person you speak w/say anything about if all the scores have been mailed out yet? I wonder if we have a similar issue to the one you had w/having 2 accounts. The person that I spoke to y-day told me that if we get the scores in the mail and are still not able to access them online, then probably 2 accounts were created and that we would have to call them to get the 2 accounts merged together. He said if anything is different in the registration process between the national tests and the state tests, that 2 accounts would automatically be created and then you would have to call them to get the issue resolved. I wonder if this is what is causing all the problems w/people not being able to log on to their accounts? What a mess, huh? I hate to say it, but it seems like it is taking an awful lot of time to resolve this issue. Maybe it just feels that way to me because I am so anxious to see my daughter’s scores. This waiting is excruciating!

Just got my daughter’s scores in the mail. She improved her composite by 1 point! We are thrilled! I think she had 2 accounts created because the score report from the April 24th test does not have her SS#. I am going to call ACT now to have them merge her 2 accounts.

Im from Illinois too. Still got nothing…

Btw, I’ve taken the test in school. Then registered for it online.
Neither time did I enter in my SS# and Im just wondering if Im supposed to merge these 2 accounts.
and when I created my online account I have said that I did take and have registered for a test before.

I would call ACT and ask them, JakMal. They will be able to look to see what’s going on w/your accounts, and if you do have 2 accounts, it will only take them a few minutes to merge them for you.

@LadyHam, my daughter, too, would be absolutely thrilled if she improved her composite by a point!! She was really happy with her national test date score but thinks she can do a little bit better. I work in a high school and have heard that junior students here have received scores in the mail just today. Of course I have tried logging in to my daughter’s ACT account and still cannot get in (I know the ACT guy said 24-48 hours…). I am now hopeful they are at home in the mail. She will be crawling the walls tonight if they are not in the mail and she still cannot access online! Her high school received the scores on Tuesday and I told her I was not willing to bug her counselor for them, so I don’t know if she tried asking herself. Schools differ on the policy of telling kids their scores.

The ACT guy with whom I spoke earlier did not actually say if her scores from the 24th were in yet, nor did I ask him. He just said once we’re able to log in online, all scores would be available for viewing.

UKMomof3 ~ I hope your daughter gets her scores in the mail today! My daughter was so anxious before she knew her scores, and so was I. Good luck to your daughter! I hope she gets the score she is hoping for!

I made my ACT account a LONG time ago. But the ACT I took on April 24th isn’t showing up on my account?

ColumbianX, then it is very possible that you have 2 ACT accounts. If you call ACT, they can merge them for you. Have you gotten your scores in the mail yet?

Email:"Our records indicate your test has not yet been processed and scored, which is why the scores are not posted online. However, you may check back on Wednesdays and Fridays of each week. Those are the days on which batches of newly processed scores will be posted online. Please check back at that time, and note the following: Most scores will be posted to the web site within 3-8 weeks after the test date, with all records resolved within 8 weeks after the test date. "

I’m guessing that my test is somehow connected with my account but I can’t view any trace of it until it is processed.
