ACT online prep (from ACT) - how was it ?

Hi,
Reading some past posts, I found out ACT has online prep
http://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/test-preparation/act-online-prep.html

Does anyone know the content of the prep? Will it be a complete set of real test? or explanation/ practices for each section? say the grammar rule? each area of Math etc?

Two of my kids will be taking the tests next year, will they be able to share the same account or do they need to create separate account?
thanks

@annamom

My D has used the online prep from ACT extensively but mostly for the math section. She said the test bank of math questions is wonderfully deep and for each type of math section has hundreds of questions and answer explanations. So she not only learned how to DO a specific type of question but there were enough questions in that section to become quick and proficient.

The science section is tedious because you have to keep clicking back to the passages. She found it much easier to print practice tests for those.

Her math subscore went up by 4 points I believe.

@carachel2 thank you. I am going to register my DD, I thought the price is very reasonable for $39.
Do you know whether it is possible for it to be used by two people? Just wondering as my older DD will only use it for two weeks and then my younger will take the test next year. I am not sure whether it is allowed.

Hmmm…I don’t know! D isn’t here right now so I can’t ask her. I think the only problem is it might have trouble tracking progress towards goals maybe?

Good luck to your kiddos! The ACT is this Saturday…is your daughter prepping for the one in September?

No. she has multiple days in her school, hence her tests won’t begin until 2 weeks later. I am hoping this will give her time to prepare. thanks again.

My kid is using it, and loves it. Well worth the money. It keeps track of the progress and the pool of questions is deep.
