<p>Hey...I was just wondering if a higher SAT or a higher ACT looks better. One of my classmates is bragging that his ACT score is like a 1520 equivalent (34 i think) but his real SAT score is like 1390 and he's applying to yale too. I got a 1520 on the sat and I don't think it's fair really to be judged on the same scale. What do you guys think will look better? Just wondering :] thanks!</p>
<p>They're supposed to be judged on the same scale and Yale says they'll take the higher score. So he'll basically be applying with a 1520, if that's how you want to look at it.</p>
<p>They convert your SAT and ACT scores to another scale, so yes, the scores will be equivalent.</p>
