Is a 2330 sat score or 34 act better to put on my app? And are these scores good enough for top colleges (granted I have good grades, ecs, subject tests, all that jazz)...just based on scores alone would I be competitive for the best schools? Thanks!

And I’m really bummed about the act…I was scoring 35-36 on practice tests but then the science on the actual test was insanely hard and totally effed me over -____-

Your SAT score is better but you could always send both to show it wasn’t a fluke. Based on these things you are definitely competitive for the top school

What is your SAT CR+M? That’s what most schools look at for SAT. No reason not to send both if that close.

Sat cr 790 m 780 w 760

I feel like the act score is a misrepresentation the actual test was much harder than the 10 or so practice tests I took

Those are so bad omg u must retake!!

^Just asking which is better…never complained that they were bad by any means. Thanks for the sarcasm.

You’re “really bummed” by getting a 34, which you deem a “misrepresentation” of your abilities. That cracks me up, as does asking if these are “good enough for top colleges.” Scores in the 99th percentile? No way could those make you competitive.
