Hey guys, I was wondering, since the summer is coming up I plan to practice for my final standarized test. Which one is technically easier? And in what aspects? And if I take the ACT and get a 34+, do I even need to take the SAT?

Nearly every top 10 student in our school over the past 5-6 years has scored about 30 pts. higher on the ACT (using the conversion chart) than on the SAT. Another advantage of the ACT is that colleges only have to report the students composite score & not the individual subtest scores like on the SAT. Thus if you are weaker in math or reading it doesn’t hurt you as much.

Another positive thing about the ACT is that it doesn’t take points off for guessing. I don’t know about you, but i enjoy that. However, you have to know how to manage time for the ACT.Especially with math. The math is easier than the SAT, but people(at least I) could use an extra 5 minutes or so added to the math section.
