Hey there!

I'm an Aussie student applying to Penn next year (i.e. for entry in 2011)
So I just checked my ACT scores (which have yet to been combined with my writing score) - overall I'm pretty pleased:

English - 36
Science - 32
Maths - 27
Reading 36

Comp. - 33

Obviously they're pretty good scores all round, bar maths. My issue is, I'm appyling to Wharton, which is big on maths. At my high school (which is extremely competitive - 10 in the state), I'm ranked 1st in Mathematics and will probably place in the 99th percentile in the state for it at the state-wide final exams by the end of this year. My downfall in the ACT came from the fact that much of the content the US covers is different to the Australian curriculum.

Does anyone know if there's anyway I can explain this to the admissions staff without having to resit the test - I'm really happy with my other scores and it would be a shame to lose them because of simple curriculum-difference difficulties. I'm strongly proficient in calculus etc. and all the other good stuff Wharton wants!

Cheers - advice/help would be SUPER appreciated!

:)
