ACT prep during the school year

I am an entering junior in high school and I will take my first ACT next month (September). I’ve done prep and got some books but I feel like I won’t get the score i want (My ultimate goal is a 32 or 33) and on my practice tests I’ve been getting 27-29 scores. I know I will take it more than once and plan to take it around February or March (When the school does it). I will be see my weaknesses after my first ACT and work on those throughout the school year but will I have enough time to get it up or the materials for it? I am taking 2 AP and 2 honors classes this year

Maybe. It depends on how organized you are, how fast you work, and what else you are doing. Don’t forget that you also have next summer. I know everyone likes to have their testing done early, but you only need to have it done in time.

If you’re worried about your courseload interfering with your ACT test prep, think about taking the ACT during September. That way you can have studied the whole summer and you’ll be more than prepared
