ACT Prep Resources/Books

I am a sophomore in high school and I recently took the PLAN test (Pre ACT) this last fall. I did not study at all for it and my scores were ok. I was projected to score somewhere between 29 and 32 for the real ACT next year, and I would however like to score a little higher than that when the test comes. If you scored well on your ACT, what were some of the resources and/or books that you used when preparing for it? Are there any resources that should be "red flagged" and I should stay away from when preparing for the ACT?

ive posted this on another form and honestly want EVERY underclassman to know about it. theprincetonreview.com offers free practice tests in certain areas. I dont know how wide spread they are but in my area there was always a good selection. Its a great way to gauge where your weak subjects are and where your composite is. I’m 100% sure they curve your score down so you take their classes, but just add 2-4 points to the score they give you and you have a pretty accurate estimate. that way you can start looking at colleges in that range.
