ACT Prepping ideas?

I have a quick question.

I'm a senior taking the ACT December 10th and my previous score is:

Composite Score : 25
English: 26
Math:24
Reading:24
Science:24
Writing: 10
English/Writing: 27

I am shooting for a 30 and was wondering if anyone had any tips in terms of effective preparation. I've been using McGrawHill and managed the following:
Comp: 28
English: 31
Reading: 31
Science:23
Math:27

I've recently bought a Princeton Review cracking the ACT study book and was wondering if doing a practice exam every week then looking over my answers would be of any help.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Math: focus on algebra and trigonometry … I can’t really comment much on this topic, since I got 34 for it, but I feel that it really depends on how strong your math foundation is.

English: get a holt grammar handbook (my school included this book in its curriculum from 9th ~ 11th -_-" bothersome? yes; helpful? very much so)

Science: Complete all “according to figure …” questions first if you are low on time. This feels like another reading section to me, since it really depends on how much you can understand lab reports in a short amount of time. Background knowledge is not required, but is beneficial.

Reading: Use the SAT guidebook, but do it faster. Also, I find critically analyzing the New York Times’s articles to be a great way too.

Thanks so much for the help! You think reviewing this material will benefit me?
