ACT problems please help! (:

Hello, I am a rising senior. I have already taken the ACT's two times. The first time I got a 24 C 24E 26M 22R 23S and a 7 W. I was so disappointed at that score. Then I took it again in June after taking a prep course. I got 25C 26E 30M 20R 23S 8W. Is there no hope? I will be taking the ACT's for the last time in september/ october. Any advice as to how I could raise my reading and science scores? I would love to end up with at least a composite of 28. Please help me.

Thank you!

To be honest, prep courses are a waste time. Intensity of the studying is more effective than is repetition. Prep books are much more efficient. I suggest Barron’s ACT 36.

I know your goal is not a 36 but i believe with this book, you can easily get into the 30s.

Always shoot higher than what you want.

That response should be copied and pasted whenever someone asks about prep courses.
