My composite for my last ACT was a 26, which I know is terrible. However, I've been working extremely hard these past few weeks and my practice tests show that I can get around a 29 this time, but I can't seem to break the "30 threshold," are there any quick tips? Specially English and math?

What kind of mistakes do you make on English? You can essentially get a perfect score on that section by mastering a few basic grammar rules. Math is a bit more tricky…

It’s mostly semicolons and comma errors, and with math it most likely has to do with circles/tangents, geometry related.

Well, with questions involving commas, unless there absolutely needs to be a comma, choose the least complex answer (usually with the least amount of punctuation). This advice will serve you until the last 15 questions when you will occasionally have to pick the most circuitous and long-winded way to say something (often times involving excessive punctuation). I would be very hesitant to pick any answer with a semicolon unless you’re sure it’s correct (there is not usually more than one instance of this on any given test).
