<p>Sometimes a straight-forward reading of the passage is a good approach, but I often recommend reading through the questions first so you know what you'll be looking for. Also, reading through the questions can give you a preview of what the passage is about. When you get to a section that you think answers the question, either go straight to the question or mark the passage so you can come back to it.</p>
<p>There are plenty of other approaches, so I'm sure you'll get some more advice...</p>
