So I'm a senior in high school and I just took the ACT in October, so I haven't gotten my score yet and I'm afraid I won't do that well... Maybe a 29? I didn't feel that good about if. Anyhow, I wanted to sign up for the December re take but I don't know if I should since I haven't gotten my score yet, I feel like taking it in February may give me more time but if you want max scholarships it should be by December. So help?? Should I sign up or wait. Also I would like tips on how to so fairly well, like at least a 33. Like I want actual steps to do well, I have the highest GPA in my grade get my test taking skills are terrible. How can I utilize my knowledge and improve for my own advantage? Especially reading tips would be helpful because that's what I have trouble with

I should probably be taking my own advice, but take a few practice tests and work on areas that need improvement. I know you hear that all the time, but when I say work on those ares, I really mean work. My English score was pretty low, so I took some practice tests and bought an ACT Grammar book, and I feel pretty confident about October’s sitting. Also, have confidence! I thought about doing the same today, but decided not to do anything until my scores are released. Just wait until Tuesday, see what you get, and if needed, retake it.
