Quick question.
If I have already sent a college my SAT score, 1560 new (790 M, 770CR, 878W), because CB automatically includes it when I sent in my subject test scores, is it worth it to send in my ACT (36 Cumulative, 36M/E/S, 34R, 29 Essay)? I know it’s only $12 but I really hate the idea of supporting CollegeBoard or ACT anymore than I have to. (Plus, it adds up since I’m applying to a lot of places.)
Thanks!
A 1560 comes out to be a 35 on the official college board scale. So you would have a better chance with the 36 and I think you should send it unless there is a major financial burden. Good job btw!
Send in the perfect score or the not perfect score?
Send the ACT.
I do not think that there is much of a difference between the two scores. Colleges are not going to reject you for not having a perfect score. If you cannot afford to then don’t.
Personally, I would spend the 12$ if it’s just for one school. You’ll never know if that one extra point could’ve gotten you more scholarship dollars or that acceptance.
Thank you @g1r2o3v4e5r6 @Jpgranier @uclahopefull for the advice. I had heard and agree that there’s not much of a difference, but I think to be safe I will send in both. (For schools that don’t care about subject tests, I have just been sending the ACT).
Thanks for the help!
