i just started taking act practice tests and i'm not sure what the scores really mean since i'm used to the sats. how do u compare act scores to sats? obviously 36 would be like 2400. what would a 2100 be equivalent to? 2200?

Its is really hard right now to make conversions with the tests because the new SAT is well...new.

Any who I suppose you could do this: 2100/2400 X 36 = 31.5---> 32

2200/2400 X 36 = 33

Not the best way to do conversions, but I have no other real way of figuring it out.

that doesnt work because of the bell curve and scaling issues. i would convert the new sat score into an old one by proportions and then use the universal table to convert scores. a 2100 would be about a 1400, which would be a high 31 or low 32

2100=~1400 old sat

ACT equivalent: 31 (just barely) - 32
