Hello. Can someone explain these results:

English: 35
Math: 34
Reading:34
Science:26

Composite: 32

HOW CAN I GET UP MY SCIENCE SCORE! If I got a 31, then I think I would have a 34 composite (my goal), but this is frustrating because I have thaken the ACT two times, and both times a 26 on science. HOWE CAN I IMPROVE!?

Trying buying a new review book and doing a lot of practice. Also, when you get a science answer wrong, make sure you understand exactly why you got it wrong. If it's because you don't understand the concept, then make sure to study the concept until you do understand it.

Thanks. Does anyone else have anything to add? The timing isn't my problem...I dont know what is because I am typically great at science.

For me, it was almost impossible to raise my ACT science score.

Wow.. those are great scores (exceept science)
.. howd you do it

Slow down, even if that means you don't get to the last few questions. You would want to get all the questions right, rather than making careless errors just to get through the entire section.

Honestly, the ACT science sucks. I'm a science whiz, and it's always been my lowest score. You can't think too much into the questions, or draw on things you've learned in class. It's basically interpreting data, hypotheses, evaluating effectiveness of experiments, etc. Just take the info you're given, and work from just that. This is the time when background knowledge will NOT help you.

I agree with supermurgatroyd. I hated the ACT science test.
