ACT Science Section

The science section is really bringing my composite score down and I need some practice. I've done all of the practice tests in the official ACT book, the high school packet, as well as all of the practice questions on ACT.com (or whatever the wed address is...). Any books from other companies I should look into? I don't like online practice as much because the format just feels so different. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks; anyone else?

I took the ACT in April and science ended up being my best section (98th percentile). The key to doing well on this section is to become very good at interpreting graphs. There is very little outside knowledge needed, and any math work that is required usually comes with an equation somewhere in the text.

My advice: go to the ACT site and do the practice questions from there. Make sure to look at all 5 sets of questions to get a feeling for what kinds of graphs they use. When it comes to the test, read the text and the TITLE of each graph. Then read questions and find the answers in the text/graph.

Good luck next time!
