ACT score dropped

I took the September ACT and my score dropped from when I took it in March. In March I got a 30 composite and in September I dropped to a 27 composite. My scores were sent to some of my schools because I expected to raise a point or two. I now realize that that was not a good move. My worry is that I will send my score from March to my schools and they will notice that I dropped and will count that against me. So now I must decide whether to register for the October ACT or not. I also have to worry about school work because I am taking four AP classes, plus advanced classes and on top of that I have to worry about college applications. But I must register by October 1st at the latest. Should I instead wait until December because I would have more time to study? How would that affect me if I did that? Most of my school's deadlines are in January. If did take it again I need tips for not getting stressed the night before because I think that was what messed with me on the September ACT. Also, what are good strategies for studying if I do decide to take it again? I would appreciate any help!

In general, schools going to look at and judge you by your highest score. Some schools superscore. But most don’t. So you have nothing to worry about
