^^^ what he said, how do u do that step? is there an alternative?

Tigerash, I was just able to view my scores on my first test (with writing) by using this:

javascript:displayWindow(‘actibeCTsdScoresPrt.jsp?pdf.x=1®Id=xxxxxxxx’,800,800)

Log in to the ACT website and replace the x’s with your ID (manually type them in). Make sure you’re using Google Chrome. When you paste this link into your address bar, you may have to retype “javascript:”

Also make sure there are absolutely no spaces in the link

jay1996 - won’t work for me (first time act taker, took writing). do you know if your status is “registered” or “tested”? based on prior threads, that may matter. thx

Okay - when I did it this time it worked, but the score report said null… should i be worried?

Eyemamom - That happened to me as well. If you look very closely in the link when you do it the second time, a space may have been added. I fixed it by first clearing out my history and stuff, logging back into the ACT website, and redoing the link to make sure there were no spaces.

Rahesq - My status has been “tested” since Sunday.

I believe that your status must be tested for this work.

Thank you! It worked! I can’t believe I figured something technical out.

For the non techies: Go to the act website, log in, click home, copy and paste that javascript code. At the very beginning you have to type in javascript: then next to the ? delete the space, then type in your 8 digit number in the x’s and hit enter.

A separate sheet will pop up on the side with the report.

If this is the first time i have taken the test is it still possible to use the glitch and if so how?

I am a first time test taker with writing. I used the exact url as posted many times over this site! I just used it on the page that listed my test date, location, status (tested), etc. I don’t think it matters what page you try the java url on as long as your status is tested and you are logged into your account. Mine just worked this morning. Good luck!

I did that step jay, but on my score report everything just said “null.” what does this mean?

@diddly123
You probably forgot to delete the space after the jsp?

So this will only work if your status says “tested”? Mine is currently still registered and I receive a message saying “your transaction cannot be completed at this time”

AHHHHHHH

English-35
Math-33
Reading-34
Science- 30 LOL

COMPOSITE: 33!!!

IM GOING TO GO DROWN IN ICE CREAM OKAY BYE

mattsmat - first time act taker, with writing, status is registered. can’t get it to work either. i have gotten the same as you - transacton can’t be completed at this time.

we are thinking that status must be “tested” to work but if anyone with a “registered” status has been successful, please let us know steps you took.

thx all and good luck

I got mine the other day using this glitch, so it definitely works!

C: 30
R: 35 (I got them all right, but that curve…)
Math: 26
Science: 24 ( seriously?!?)
English: 34

So, my scores are definitely lopsided. Will be taking it again and studying with Barron’s Math and Science workbook. I’m kind of disappointed but very satisfied with my reading and english scores.

@Shewhotrumpets
What do you mean by “that curve”? I got a 36 in reading, so are you positive you got them all right? I don’t know where to find how many questions I missed.

@Rahesq Your status has to say “tested” in order for the glitch to work

for anyone whose wondering, I got a 32 the first time followed by a 36 the second time. I’ve taken around 10 practice tests and all i can say is this: PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE

@tips Where did you get your practice tests from? I’ve used the whole red book, and now I’m not sure what to do. I’m at a 34 now, aiming for a 36.

I am a 15 years old sophomore who took the ACT for the first time. I’m pretty disappointed with my scores =(

English 33
Math 24
Reading 28
Science 23
Composite 27

Did I do good?
