On both the ACT tests I took, I received equal composite scores of 26. My English sub-score is greater on the most recent test than the first by 5+ points. The latest test has also a better essay score. However, the first test I took has better Math and Reading scores. Ya, should I send both reports to the colleges I am applying to?

Send both - if the school “superscores” the ACT. More and more schools are now super scoring - which means they will take the highest score for each section and give you an overall higher “superscore.” I used to have a list of schools that do this, but I can’t find it. Try googling “superscore” ACT and see if you can find it. For example, both University of Colorado and Washington University in St. Louis superscore the ACT.
