What is recommended ACT composite and math scores for UVA Engineering school?

“Too low” for what? Applying? Depends on the rest of your application and where your GPA falls. Obviously the further you go below a school’s average scores, the more of a reach it becomes.
i was wondering if he would be discounted with a 30 on Math in the engineering program. His composite is 32 and he is ranked #1 in his class of 414 students with a weighted gpa of 4.94.
In state or out? The middle 50% for VA scored 30-34 but for out of state it was 33-35 (composite). So just by the numbers out of state would seem like a reach. But clearly by looking at the UVA2022 decision posts UVA factors a lot more than grades and scores into their admission process.
