What is a good score on the ACT for getting into Wharton? I read somewhere around a 31.5 or something is around what a lot of the people who were accepted had, but I don't know how truthful that answer is.

I had a 33, I know someone who got rejected with a 34.

did you get accepted?

yeah i got accepted, ed

Did you send an SAT score as well. I feel much more confident in taking the ACT than the SAT and so I don't plan on taking the SAT (again) or sending a score. What do you think of that strategy?

...Penn accepts the ACT in lieu of the SAT. They treat both equally. You can get in (and people do get in) by only taking the ACT and only submitting that score.

Thanks, I have just been reading lately that some colleges think by taking the ACT its the "easier way out," so I got a little worried because I have been rigorously preparing for it and I didn't want all that time to go to waste.

i got in with a 32. so, i think you're fine. i know some who got in with a 30. don't worry too much.

I got in with 30. I'm international though, it's a whole different story.

Anyway, it is really important that you have a really good score on the Math section, something like 99th percentile (33-36), since you will not submit SAT II Math.

i got accepted RD at 33 but i think once you get in the 30s it comes down to more.
