How many times should I take the act. I already took it twice this year. The first time I got a 30 and the second time I got a 31. The only thing that makes me nervous is that when I was in Middle score I took it twice as well. I got an 18 in 7th grade and a 21 in 8th grade. If a college sees all of my act scores will they hold it against me that my scores are low from middle school? Will they be mad if I took the ACT too much? Thanks!

It doesn’t really matter what you did in middle school. If you’ve taken it twice in high school, you can get away with one more. Four is too many. Don’t take it again unless you really think you can move up 2 or 3 points.

No Colleges ask for your highest ACT scores, same thing with your SAT scores. so take it however many times you want. Good luck am in the same situation.

Some schools require that you report all scores, but I doubt any would even glance at middle school scores. Take it one more time if you think you can improve.

Are middle school scores even reportable for the ACT? I know that for the SAT they’re essentially wiped off the slate.

The scores stay on your record, but colleges don’t care about middle school ACTs. Good news for your 17 and 21, bad news for my 30 and 33.
