ACT sections?

I know that Harvard allows for Score Choice of the ACT, and they naturally will look at your highest composite. But do they also look at specific sections - not to superscore, just to see? My friend was asking me this and I didn't know exactly what to say. He has:

34 (34E,36M,34R,30S,10W)
35 (36E,32M,35R,36S,9W)

Obviously, the 2nd ACT has a higher composite, so he is definitely sending it in. But is it worth it to also send in the other score? Would they care to see the higher math section or essay score? Or would it be pointless?

According to this thread (last post), Harvard does superscore the ACT: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/1037572-does-harvard-superscore-act.html

hm I didn’t realize this, but I guess they don’t say it anywhere. I suppose there isn’t really any harm in sending both, even if score choice allows you to just send the higher comp.

ya sending in both won’t hurt you
