Hi!
For a school that superstores the ACT should I send them 2 ACT scores even if one has a super low science section because its superscored? Or should i just send the better composite instead??? help please
How super low are we talking about?
What is your superscore if you send in both, versus your highest composite from one?
I wonder about this, too. S has a 25 on one ACT section for first test and a 35 for same section on second test. The composite on test #2 is 34, but SS is 35 (b/c he did better on the other sections the first time). I actually wondered if someone would think that big of a jump was suspicious.
i have a 24 on the sci section of one test and 31 on another and if i superstore my composite would be a 33 vs a 32. Composite but i have sat test score of 1440 @Faulkner1897
Have you asked your GC? That’s a tough one, but from everything I have read on this site, colleges that superscore genuinely only consider the highest section scores. I would like to think that once you prove you can make a certain score on science, they won’t hold it against you that you made a lower score on a previous test.
From what I understand, science is often the achilles heel for students. It is the last section on the ACT, so there is test fatigue, and it is incredibly inconsistent from test to test.
Looking at your other threads, one of the schools you are looking at really likes the highest scores possible, and superscores, so it might make sense to send it whatever you need to send in to get the 33 superscored.
A 33 is pretty equal to a 1440, though.
