ACT Strategy?

What has helped you guys? I have only taken one practice test but have done fairly well (~30 composite), but I am wondering what helps you guys when taking the ACT test? Like in terms of reading, how do you approach the problems. Personally, I don't think the questions are that hard, but it may be difficult to pace myself on some of the sections, and could use any tips that you guys have for taking this test. Thanks.

I would get Cracking the ACT for the strategies/test overview/fundamental review and the tests, and of course the official tests if you don't already have those. Study the Cracking book and do several timed tests. Timing is key, esp. for science. Keep practicing and you will see nice improvement!

I try to divide the time among the passages to six minutes for each passage+questions. It helped me out. I got a 36 on the official practice test for english.

The biggest thing I know about pacing is don't let yourself loose concentration, but don't feel anxious. Anxiety doesn't help much, at least not me.
