i've heard Vassar superscores the ACT...true?

yep. An admissions rep visited my school a few weeks ago and said that vassar does indeed superscore the ACT.

i'm not sure if it's worth it to send my three different tests that i want to use subscores from, though...i have a 32 composite and a 33 superscore. does it make that much of a difference? and do you know of any other schools besides WUSTL that do this?

I have never heard of the term superscore. Please explain!

I have never heard the term, either, but judging from the context, it probably means that the college uses the highest score for each section, if the applicant has taken the ACT multiple times.

EDIT.

I emailed Vassar and asked if they superscore, yet the person who emailed me back seemed to indicate that they DID NOT. I replied back, explaining that the Vassar rep who visited my school stated that Vassar did indeed superscore ACTs.

So...I actually don't know.

I have an idea; how about we all email Vassar asking if they superscore? I'm sure we won't all get the same "replier." Seriously. Shall we?

The rep who came to my school made it very clear that they DO. we even clarified it was the ACT not the SAT. so...one more vote for 'they do'
