ACT Superscore?

Does Northwestern superscore the ACTs?

I've taken them twice, each time a 31.

R-33
M-30
W-33
S-29

R-27
M-33
W-31
S-34

By the way, I'm a junior so I still have plenty of time to take the test a few more times.

no they don't. try again, study harder.

Actually they do superscore, I remember them saying that at the NU group session/tour. I also got 31's both times, and with a superscore it came out to be a 33. I got in, so if you have these scores and are still a junior you could only improve them, right?

really? i heard the exact opposite. but i was on a tour, so maybe the tour guide didn't know for sure.

As far as published data go, they don't seem to superscore:

2006-07 First-time, first-year (freshman) admission, Common Data Set - Northwestern University

The composite would likely be higher than both math and english scores if this composite is a superscored one. I said "likely" because it doesn't show science/writing scores.

Regardless how they calculate for published data, they may superscore for evaluating applicants.

They do not superscore.
That doesn't mean that they might not look at your individual scores, to your benefit, when comparing you with applicants with similar composite scores.

like everyone said, they dont superscore
