ACT Test Prep Books - Kaplan, Red book or Princeton?

Hey guys, I'm signed up for the ACT test in April. I prepped for the SAT about a year, and took the test last Saturday, however I have done no ACT prep whatsoever. I bought the PR ACT 2014 3 Practice test book and Kaplan 6 practice test book; I know the PR will be a good source, but do Kaplan test reflect the real ACT test? Or am I better off just prepping from the Red Book and PR?

The only tests that you can be sure will reflect real scores are the tests in the Real Guide to the ACT http://www.amazon.com/Real-ACT-3rd-Prep-Guide/dp/0768934400

and these four free online tests (all real, previously administered tests with grading curves)

I’m assuming you’re pretty well prepped already because of the SAT but here’s a guide to help:

Ordered Real Gide to the ACT, and Barron’s 36 last night

@BiochemLife Those are the books that helped me the most.

I time myself for each section and review what I got wrong. That has helped me the most.

Get them all if you can. My D did 20-30 practice tests before taking the real one. I would not rely on one book and a few practices. The Read Act is closer to the real test. Kaplan is tend to be easier and Barron’s more difficult with PR in between. Some books also have a slightly different format of question than the real test. But doing more practice is good and don’t restrict yourself.

Looks like Barron’s completely redid their ACT Guide. Has anyone used it yet? http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-ACT-CD-ROM-Book-CD-Rom/dp/1438074328/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408807562&sr=8-1&keywords=barrons+act+cd+rom
