I took the ACT in June and here are my results

C=28
E=29
M=31
R=26
S=26

Before the exam, I took Kaplan and read Princeton Review. I took all the free practice tests in the ACT booklets. I also completed most of 1296 PR (skipped science sections). After all this prep, I still did not perform to my best abilities. I will take the ACT again in September, so I was wondering which test books would help me get a 32+ on test day?

Could anyone give me some advice on increasing that score? What did you guys do to get those amazing 30+ scores? I am running out of time; JUST NEED TO GET THAT SCORE TO HAVE A BALANCED RESUME!!! Thanks

Im with you to bro. But I asked quite a few people the same question. I got this, “practice with act tests, correct yourself when you are wrong. So practice!” Also, if you haven’t tried barron’ 36, do so. I just started reading it; its real good. I heard kaplan is terrible.

Did you get any advice regarding prep? I am so anxious to start.

I just don’t get why I do so bad on test. I was studying for this test since January and I still failed to see any results. My composite went up by 2 and my science section went down by 2.

I just want to get a 32 on my act so I can get scholarship money!

The fact that most of my friends are applying already and showing off their 35s and 36s makes me feel stupid. What are they doing that I am not?

I looooove Barron’s 36, it helped me soo much on the practice test. English brought my score down quite a bit on the June test, but I plan on working on that alot all summer and hopefully get it in the 30’s for the Sept. test!

The questions in the Barron’s 36 are definitely on the difficult side, but their English and Math review are comprehensive. I would definitely give it a try.
