Okay I know this is silly, but I need help with my ACT Writing score. On my score report, it says 24. Under it, where it says Ideas And Analysis, Development And Support, Organization, and Language Use And Conventions, I have an 8 in each of those sections. Would that be my essay score? This was my first time taking the ACT. Thank you all for your help! 
Add together the 8s and multiply by 3/4. Your score will be at that value or up to 2 points below it.
In your case, your range with those subscores is 22-24.
Oh, that makes a little more sense! Not sure if that’s good or bad…
