Hi so ive basically studied for the SAT all my high school life, but realized that the ACT is so much easier and I score so much higher. SOOOO my question is, is the SAT vocab the same as the ACT vocab ?
For example if I have SAT vocab words & books such as direct hits can I use that for the ACT ??

The ACT doesn’t really test on vocab. In my experience, both with the actual test, and practice tests, there never is a direct question about vocab. Having been around the English language for your entire life will just about suffice, in terms of the vocabulary on the ACT. There are questions in reading about tone, which can occasionally have a less common word as an answer. I have always known every word on the ACT, and that is without any study at all.

There are also a few questions that ask what a specific word means within a passage, but it’s pretty obvious with the context clues. It’s really unnecessary to study vocab just for the ACT.

Thank you both :)
