Vocab question?

I just recently began prepping for the ACT after being miserable with the SAT and frankly, im loving the ACT quite a bit :)

Now, with the SAT there were many vocab oriented questions...i don't see so much of the with the ACT. So do u think it's necessary to memorize any vocab for the exam like we need to for the SAT in some cases...?

You do not need to memorize any vocabulary for the ACT. The reading section will include one, maybe two, questions that ask you what a word means based on context, but that's it. As for the english part, it's all grammer; but i just figure out the answer based on "what sounds right."

P.S. Got 30+ in english on all practice tests i took (December ACT was hard though!!)

If you literally guess the shortest answer, and guess OMIT always, you will get around a 25-27... haha
