<p>I disagree. No lazy person can ever memorize the amount of words needed for CR… On the other hand, the ACT doesn’t require memorization of all those words.</p>
<p>in my unscientific opinion, the ACT is just an easier test period. </p>
<p>I mean the SATs don’t really test intelligence at all… unless you count the ability to memorize as intelligence. The math part is hardly tricky…</p>
<p>Where we live in CA it seems that more students take the ACT and the kids that achieve top scores get in to all the best schools using their ACT’s, just like the kids that achieve top scores using their SAT’s. </p>
<p>It does seem that there are pockets of areas in the country where the ACT is more common, while in other areas the SAT seems to be more common. My son took both.</p>
