Should I send both my SAT and the ACT? My single-sitting for both is equivalent (2190 and 33) but my SAT superscore is 2270 (800 CR, 710 M, 760 W), so I am definitely sending SAT scores. The problem is that my major is Computer Science and Engineering, so I am worried that my lower math score will hurt me. My ACT math score is 34 which is a lot better than the 710, and I have a 35 in science. Should I send both if my major is Engineering?

Midwest schools get more ACT scores and NE schools get more SAT scores. If cost is not an issue and you feel it would benefit you to send them, go ahead and send both. It depends how many schools you are sending them to and how much you want to pay.

Yeah the cost part was my main concern, but I will send my ACT to some of the Northeastern schools that I am applying to. Thank you!

Unless cost is an issue, send both SAT and ACT. They will then choose the one they believe is better for you in determining admission. Moreover, though they will likely use only one for determining admission, they may consider the other one if it has the higher math score in relation to any merit aid that might be awarded.
