I am in direct contact with the admissions office on a regular basis and they confirm no preference.

@Heretohelpyou Of course, you can be accepted with just SAT. I submitted only my SAT. Also, it’s on their website, under “testing information (sat/act)”.
It says that the “ACT is the preferred test for Cal Poly.”
