<p>On the Cal Poly website. It is stated that the ACT is the preferred test for Cal Poly.I want to know how much do Cal Poly weight the ACT rather than the SAT?</p>
<p>I myself is an ACT person in CA.</p>
<p>I know they do prefer it, but if you were to have a better SAT score, they would take that over the not-so-good ACT score. A good test score is a good test score. They'll want you whether you have a competitive ACT or SAT score.</p>
<p>Because Cal Poly is my #2 school. I have around a 3.5 Cal Poly Gpa and 27 ACT.</p>
