Personally, I feel a 2400 has more weight than a 36. WHen I take the SAT, I know I have picked the right answers because the answers are very logical. But for ACTs, I have found many questions with weak bases. I took all 3 practice tests and have found way too many BS questions in the english section.....

After taking practice tests I feel like I can't surpass 33 (even though i hav a 2280 SAT)

ANyone have similar experiences with the ACT or is it just me?

I go the other way around; I got around a 33 on each section of my practice test, yet my score for the SAT is a 1910 as it stands now, though I bombed one section.

haha yes i know what you mean. I thought the SAT was somewhat hard, but I did ok on it. And everybody told me the ACT's were way easier...NOPE!! It's ALL a lie and i just took it today and think i got like a 1 on it for real lol.

I like the ACT sections because it's easier for me to focus on one subject and then move to the next instead of jumping around like crazy. I don't understand why they have to switch gears every 15 minutes.

But, I did A LOT better on my ACT's.

Composite ACT score was a 31, which is in the 98th percentile, while my composite SAT score was a 1930 which is in the 87th percentile. Needless to say I wasn't too pleased when I got my SAT scores back.

well for me personally i think the ACT is harder because the questions are a lot slippier. I think the SAT is a little more straightforward with their answers. On the ACT there may be two answers that are exactly alike, but you have to decipher which one is more correct. Also the ACT is more constraining with its time.
