i got a 2100 sat, but a 34 ACt. Will uva just accept my act and ignore my sat. Also what is a 34 Act equivalent too

34 ACT is equal to about a 2250

Universities will take your higher score.

You probably don't need to send your SAT score then.

Dont send ur SAT. That would be stupid...unless the require SAT2s, then sending all scores is inevitable. But even so, they wont hold it against you.

There's more than one conversion table for ACT - SAT. The SAT people have one based on a 1994 study which skews a little more to the SAT side than the figures used by the University of California: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ACT_(examination)#External_links According to the Wikipedia article, UC figures that a 34 ACT is roughly the equivalent of a 2280 - 2330 SAT. I don't know what conversion table UVa uses, but either way it'll be better than your SAT score.
