Do you have to submit an ACT score with writing?
For example, lets say I got a 32 with writing but then a 35 without writing because I was happy with my previous writing score. Would I have to submit the 32 w/ writing or are the composite scores and writing scores separate?
You need to look at what the target colleges expect.
And composite can matter less than the individual sores.
Composite scores and writing ARE NOT SEPARATE in terms of picking and choosing what to send to colleges. if you need to send in to a school with writing, you will need to send in the TEST date scores with the writing…meaning the 32 goes along in the report with your writing. You can’t pick and choose which composite and which writing. IF you have a college that does not require writing and you don’t have to send all scores (each college is different whether they want you to send in entire testing history or you can pick and choose scores to send in) then you could just send in the 35. IF you have a school that wants writing…then you have to send in the score report with the 32 but you could also send in the 35 test too.
@LvMyKids2 thank you so much!
