<p>I recently retook the ACT for the 4th time, because Penn requires it and I hadn't taken it with writing yet. I got a 35 composite (E 35 R 36 M 34 S 33), but a 6 on the writing, and my combined English/writing score is 30. Is the 6 going to negatively affect me to the point where I should retake? Will it look bad considering I got a 5 on the AP English Lang test? I really don't want to retake it, and I know the adcoms frown upon taking it more than 3 times, but I'm afraid a 6 is really low for Penn.</p>
