So I’ve taken the ACT and I did well on my composite score, without writing. Hypothetically, if I were to take it again with the writing, but score less on the composite, would I be able to use that larger composite score combined with my writing score from my second test? Thanks!
Depends on where you apply – if I school says they superscore, that means they take your highest scores. If they don’t, well, you send all your scores and they consider them all. You probably won’t vary a whole lot, though, so I wouldn’t worry about it.
