ACT Writing

When can we expect our writing scores from the June 11 ACT?

It comes with the scores they mail to you. Which is, you know, whenever the ACT gets around to it.

I find the writing prompts to be really stupid compared to the SAT's. Anyone else?

Hmm... What was the writing prompt for june?

about whether sports are important in the school environment.

That's not that bad.

my friends that didn't take the writing are already getting their scores in the mail...hurry up ACT!

peck, did ur friend take the ACT for the June test? or earlier?

yeah they took it in June..I am hoping to get my writing score in the next two weeks or so

Everyday when the mail comes, I rip it out of my mother's hands. As you can tell, everyday I'm dissapointed. :(

The June ACT test essay scores are finally up on the website (they weren't for a long time) but you have to fork over $8 to see them.

Actually, I find the ACT Writing prompts to be far more relevant (and easier) than the SAT ones. "Write about the significance of memory" versus "Are school sports necessary?". I find the second prompt far more relevant to me; thus, it is easier to answer.

How do you know your essay scores are there? Do they send you something? I paid already and don't want to do it again, but I don't see any prompt that the essay score was added.

when are scores available online for free?

I believe they're online for free ~2weeks or so after they first come online. Makes the fee pointless, in my opinion.

You will get your essay scores for free on the official score report mailed home.

^^ That's true. Sorry if I misunderstood the question. However, you also get your essay scores online...I got my essay score online some time before I got the letter in the mail. I forget how long it was between the time the scores appeared online and the time the essay score appeared online.

ugh, I forgot my ACT ID code; I'm so mad.

Can't you use your S.S.#? That's what I did.

No, I didn't submit my S.S #, so they gave me an ID; of course, I chose not to write it down.

Do selective schools look at your highest Standardized Test scores? Say you scored poorly on your SAT but did very well on the ACT, which score would colleges consider?....the ACT or SAT?
