"Acted on" status??!

My friend's status just changed while she was checking her USConnect, and after I checked mine it changed from "reviewed" to this:

Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2010)
The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you have not received our written notification, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.

Mine went from Reviewed-->forwarded like last week-->Reviewed this morning--> this thing now

Does everybody else also have this?

yup i just got that also, same process as you as well

me too…so decisions were indeed mailed. Was it automatic or are they working pass midnight on a Sunday? If so, hats off from me.

now the question is, are these acceptances or rejections =/

Good question. I think they are all acceptances.

i really hope so, cause USC is my last chance on going to a school with a football team LOL, ucsd doesnt have one haha

I got it too. askoh, don’t over-analyze.

It just means they mailed your decision. Not what the decision is.

I got my letter on Mar. 19th.

Do we agree that this is a big Wave, and the last one?

Just got the acted on status too

It is amazing USC comes up with such complex variety of status lines and uses these only for their internal purpose, meaning not for us.

i agree that this is the big wave. this is by no means the last ACCEPTANCE wave or the REJECTION wave. these are all of the left-over decisions (acceptances and rejections) that have not been mailed yet. i’m sure the people who have already received their decisions have also changed to this status.

i do, however, feel that 98% of these decisions will be rejections as i have friends who have already received spring enrollment packets. if they are already done with the spring enrollment people, they would not be sending many more acceptances out.

Maybe the status is indeed for us because it always says “your” in the sentences not “his/her.”

okay well this is definitely not for everyone, I have a friend who just checked as well and she’s still stuck on forwarded

98% rejection? There are not many CLAS admits yet or are there?

Was “acted upon” used last year? was it a negative phrase?

How do you know how many CLAS admits there are this year?

@askoh

That’s odd- I’m going to ask anyone at my school who applied to USC to check their status.

I got that too. Changed from fall grades—>Forwarded—>reviewed------> acted on.
So, I will probably get my decision tomorrow in the mail.

well my friend applied to annenburg, and i’m a CLAS applicant, so maybe it has to do with that? not sure

Aren’t rejections comming out in april?

no all decisions should come by april 1st
