<p>In the Princeton Review book, it says that the ETS prefers active voice over passive voice. Thus, in error ID questions, should an error be marked for passive voice? Also, in the Improving Sentences questions, should an answer choice that is written in active voice be chosen if the original sentence is written in passive voice?</p>

<p>Passive voice is fine for the error ID</p>

<p>For improving sentences, always pick the active voice over passive assuming that the active voice sentence is otherwise grammatically correct.</p>
